Sherman blanks Lady Lions

SHERMAN -- Katy Klegg fired a five-hitter as Sherman recorded a 5-0 District 13-4A softball victory over Greenville on Tuesday.

Klegg struck out 11 and walked one as the Lady Bearcats completed a district sweep over the Lady Lions. They also won 7-2 at Greenville on March 11.

Arian Alford and Sidney Tippit both had two hits to lead Greenville at the plate.

The Lady Lions dropped to 9-11 for the season and 1-7 in district play.
