The Denison Yellow Jackets defeated the Greenville Lions 13-0 in District 13-4A baseball at John Mason Field Friday.

The Jackets scored runs in all five innings and made the lead stand up as the Lions could not mount much offense.

The Lions fall to 7-11-1 on the season and 0-5 in District 13-4A play, while Denison raises its record to 10-13 on the season and 2-5 in District 13-4A.

The Lions travel to Sherman on Tuesday for a game against the Bearcats. Game time is 7:30 p.m.

Denison also claimed the junior varsity game, 12-1.
