Local lifters place at state meet

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas -- Lifters from Greenville won medals at the Texas High School Women's Powerlifting Association's state championships this weekend.

Brittany Lee Davis of Greenville was third in Class 4A's 220-plus pound class with her total of 890 that included three best lifts of 350, 190 and 350. Megan McGhee of Beaumont Central won that weight class at 945.
