Lady Lions want their fans to pack the stands today

The Greenville Lady Lions soccer team is hoping that fans pack the T.A. "Cotton" Ford Stadium stands for their District 19-4A match today against North Lamar.

The junior varsity match starts at 11 a.m., with the varsity contest to follow at 1 p.m.

Teams from the Greater Hunt County Soccer Association will also be recognized at the game.

Greenville is 14-3 for the season and 6-0 in district play after outscoring Paris in a shootout on Thursday night. The two teams tied 1-1 in regulation.

Katelynn Twilley scored Greenville's goal in regulation off an assist from Emma Hollingsworth.

Julia Hernandez scored for the Lady Lions in the shootout.

Brandy Gray played goalkeeper for the Lady Lions in the shootout, turning back the Lady Wildcats.

Ellen Robins was the goalkeeper for Greenville in regulation.
