Matt Cohen went 3-for-3 with three runs batted in and scored a run to lead the J.J. Pearce Mustangs to a 10-0 victory over the Greenville Lions Tuesday at John Mason Field.
Pearce's Allen Findley was 1-3 with 2 RBIs, while Casey Lane was 2-3 with a RBI.
The Mustangs scored four runs on four hits in the second inning and were never threatened.
Trevor Renfro went the distance to get the victory in a called after five innings because of the mercy rule.
Sawyer Harmon and Blake Taylor each had a hit for the Lions, which fell to 3-2-1 on the young season.
Greenville will play in the Mesquite tournament on Thursday against El Paso Socorro.
Renfro struck out six Lions and gave up only one walk in the win.
