Lady Lions win soccer shootout

SULPHUR SPRINGS -- Sulphur Springs closed the gap on Greenville Lady Lions in District 19-4A soccer on Friday, tying them 2-2 though Greenville won an over-time shootout.

Greenville had beaten Sulphur Springs 5-0 in the district opener.

Greenville stayed undefeated in district play at 5-0 and is now 13-3 for the season.

Maddy Crabtree scored both of Greenville's goals in regulation, upping her season total to 20.

Katelynn Twilley and Bailey Phillips recorded assists. Twilley and Phillips now have six assists for the season.
