Lady Lions roll to 20-4 victory

The Greenville Lady Lions racked up 20 runs on 10 hits en route to a 20-4 softball victory over the Quinlan Ford Lady Panthers on Tuesday at Monty Stratton Field.
Greenville spread the offense around as Ali Threndyle went 3-for-4 at the plate with two runs batted in, Vanessa Rico was 2-for-4 with three RBIs, Chelsea Rigsby was 2-for-4, plus Rachael Cook, Sidney Tippit and Katie Threndyle all had hits as Greenville raised its season record to 3-4.
"I'm very excited about the win and we played well today," said Greenville coach Jennifer Rickman.
Cook pitched the whole four innings, allowing seven hits and one walk while striking out four.
Lacy Tenney, Taylor Elrod, Taelor Beirschmitt, Amanda Paul, Halee Fitzgerald and Natalie Enriquez hit safely for the Lady Panthers.
