Lady Lions blank Princeton

PRINCETON -- Greenville's Lady Lions stayed undefeated in District 19-4A soccer with a 3-0 victory over Princeton on Friday night.

Julia Hernandez scored two goals, upping her season total to nine goals. Emmaline Hollingsworth scored Greenville's other goal.

Julia Hernandez, Meg Lawson and Bailey Phillips recorded assists.

The Lady Lions upped their season record to 11-3 and district record to 4-0. They've outscored their opponents by a 14-1 margin and their season opponents, 41-8.

Phillips now has five assists for the season.

The Lady Lions' next scheduled game is on Tuesday at home against Anna, starting at 5:30 p.m. Anna, like Princeton, does not have a girls junior varsity team.
