SULPHUR SPRINGS -- Shooting woes in the second half haunted the Greenville Lady Lions during their 64-33 District 13-4A loss to Sulphur Springs on Monday night.
The game was moved from Tuesday to Monday because of weather forecasts that called for possible sleet and icy conditions today.
Greenville hit only two shots from the field in the second half while being outscored 29-9.
"We could not find the bucket," said Lady Lions coach Lesa Darst. "Couldn't put the orange ball in the orange rim. We had too many turnovers.
Reagan Humphrey pumped in 23 points to lead the victors, who are now 8-3 in district play. Kyria Ivery added 12 points.
Aubrey Tucker topped the Lady Lions with eight points and Arian Alford added seven.
