DENISON -- The Greenville Lady Lions, led by Mackenzie Cooper's 11 points, defeated the Denison Lady Yellow Jackets 48-29 Tuesday.

"The players came out with a lot of fire and intensity tonight," said Lady Lions head coach Lesa Darst.

Aubrey Tucker pumped in eight points, while Ashley Abbott tallied seven.

Moore drained nine for the Lady Yellow Jackets, while Mariaha Scally tallied six.

Denison is now 4-23 for the season, while Greenville gets a season sweep over the Lady Jackets.

Greenville outscored Denison 13-8 in the first quarter and was never seriously threatened as the Lady Lions raised their record to 8-16 for the season.
