DENISON -- Denison handed the Greenville freshmen a 34-18 football loss on Thursday.

Tyler Matthews scored for the Lions on runs of 45 and 14 yards.

Justin Koger scored on a 2-yard run.

Riley Cox helped the Lions' defense with an interception.

Greenville, now 5-3-1 for the season and 1-3-1 in district play, plays again at home on Thursday against Sherman.
