Greenville's freshmen tied Sulphur Springs 34-34 on Thursday to run their football record to 4-1-1.

Tyler Matthews scored for the Lions on runs of 43, 3 and 12 yards.

Tayelor Doty also scored on a 10-yard run and Justin Koger ran in from three yards.

Koger and Datristion Fite both ran in for two-point conversions. Fite also sparked the Lion defense with a fumble recovery.

GHS returns to action in Texarkana at 5 p.m. on Thursday.
