GHS freshmen drop game

MOUNT PLEASANT -- The Greenville Lions' freshman football team suffered its first loss of the season on Thursday night, 33-7 to Mount Pleasant.

Tyler Matthews scored the Lions' only touchdown, returning a fumble 75 yards. Riley Cox booted the extra point.

The Lions, now 4-1 for the season and 0-1 in district play, will entertain Sulphur Springs at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
