Lions split games in Kaufman tournament

KAUFMAN -- The Greenville Lions split two games in the Kaufman
tournament on Tuesday.
The Lions defeated Durant, Okla., 76-36 in the first game.
Devonte Green, N.J. Mason and Kenneth Neal each banked in 12
points for Greenville.
Josh Barrett and Spuds Cook pumped in 13 points apiece to lead
Durant.
Marshall took care of the Lions in the second game, 58-50.
Devonte Green tallied 21 for Greenville while Alton Dennis
added 12 for the Lions.
Booma Dade and Vic Williams pumped in 17 points to lead the
Mavericks.
Greenville’s season record is now 8-11.
The Lions will be in action on Saturday at Newman Smith in
Carrollton.
