Soccer Lions down Paris, 2-1

PARIS, Texas -- The Greenville Lions hung on to first place in the District 20-4A boys soccer race with a 2-1 victory over North Lamar on Saturday.

Ryan Wilhelm scored off an assist from Luis Serrato for one Greenville goal.

Denim Douglas scored the other goal unassisted.

The Lions improved to 9-6-3 for the season and 6-1-1 in district play.

Greenville has two remaining district road games remaining including one at Princeton on Tuesday and another at Commerce on Friday.
