Lady Lions blank Princeton in soccer match

PRINCETON -- Katelynn Twilley scored her first career hat
trick to lift the Greenville Lady Lions to a 3-0 district
soccer victory over Princeton on Friday night.
The Lady Lions bounced back from Tuesday’s loss at North Lamar
to up their District 20-4A record to 3-1. They are now 7-6-1
for the season.
“They played well,” said Lady Lions coach Ron Beck.
Goalkeeper Lupe Alvarez registered the shutout.
Meg Lawson scored both goals as Greenville claimed the junior
varsity match, 2-0. Chandler Hill added an assist and
goalkeeper Samantha Green claimed the shutout.
