Lady Lions clinch playoff spot with win

RICHARDSON -- The Greenville Lady Lions clinched a playoff spot in District 10-4A with their 56-38 victory over Richardson Pearce on Friday night.

The victory kept the 14-11 Lady Lions alone in third place in 10-4A with an 8-5 record. They have one regular season game left at home on Tuesday night against Rockwall.

Rocio Medrano fired in 27 points to spark the Lady Lions, while Olivia Carter tossed in 12 and Jessica Franklin added 10.

Corrie Forcier led the Lady Mustangs with 13 points.
