Lady Lions sweep past Rockwall-Heath

ROCKWALL -- Greenville’s Lady Lions completed a sweep over Rockwall-Heath, beating the Lady Hawks 59-49 on Tuesday night.

Greenville, which also downed Rockwall-Heath 54-47 at Greenville on Dec. 9, squared its season record at 10-10 and District 10-4A mark at 4-4.

Olivia Carter pumped in 25 points to lead the Lady Lions, while Rocio Medrano banked in 22 and Jessica Franklin added 11.

Katelyn Morris topped Rockwall-Heath with 19 points and Shanae Lowrance added 13.

Greenville returns to action on Friday at home against Highland Park. It will be “Jam the Gym” night.
