Greenville falls at Kaufman tourney; Cumby tourney first day recap

KAUFMAN -- Greenville’s Lady Lions opened the Kaufman tournament on Monday with a 50-32 loss to Mesquite Poteet.

Olivia Carter paced Greenville with 13 points, while Myneshia Crow chipped in nine and Rocio Medrano added seven.

Shanovia Gamblin led the victors with 21 points.

The Lady Lions, who are now 6-7 for the season, play again against Paris at 12:30 p.m. today in consolation action in the Kaufman tournament.
