Terrell beats Lady Lions in volleyball

TERRELL -- Terrell handed the Greenville Lady Lions a 25-19, 21-25, 26-25, 25-15 loss on Friday night.

Sarah Tankersley led the Lady Lions with six kills. Meghan Litchfield and Hannah Johnson both added five kills.

Morgan Bloyed and Litchfield both topped the Lady Lions with two blocks.

Setter Quincy Watson led in assists with 13 and Bloyed managed 11 assists.

Terrell claimed the junior varsity match, 25-20, 25-14, while Greenville won the freshman contest, 24-26, 25-22, 25-20.

Greenville’s junior varsity and freshmen will compete in the Kaufman tournament today.

The varsity’s next action is on Tuesday at Little Elm.
