As the 2009-10 school year winds down, the booster club board members would like to thank everyone for a successful year supporting our student-athletes.  The support you have shown has allowed the booster club to help both high school and middle school sports programs as well as allowing scholarships to be given to several graduating senior athletes.  The board hopes to build on this year's success as we look forward to another great year of Greenville athletics.

Program ad sales for the 2010-11 school year are currently underway.  Ad sizes and costs are as follows:

We are also proud to announce a new way for you to support the Greenville Lions.  Sales are underway for 2' x 4' signs that will be displayed at the outdoor sports field of your choice.  For a first time cost of $500, your sign will be designed to your specifications, displayed for a full year and a business card sized program ad will be included.  After your first year, a renewal of $300 will provide yet another year of supporting the Greenville Lions as well as another program ad.

GHS Athletic Booster Club memberships for the upcoming year will soon be available.  Student memberships are $5.00, while single adult memberships are $10.00 and come with a 5% discount with any purchase of booster club clothing.  Family memberships are $25.00 and include a 10% discount for booster club clothing purchases.  We invite you to join our organization as we continue to support all GHS athletes.  All funds raised go to benefit the athletic programs of Greenville ISD and for student-athlete scholarships.

Lion outfielder named to District 10-4A baseball team
June 19, 2010 -- Greenville senior outfielder Brad Ratliff represented the Lions on the All-District 10-4A baseball team. Ratliff earned first-team honors. He was the only Greenville Lion to make the team.

Franklin signs with South Plains College
June 17, 2010 -- The bigger the track and field meet, the better the performance. That was usually the case for recent Greenville High School graduate Jessica Franklin, who finished third twice at the state meet in Austin, plus was second once at the prestigious Texas Relays and also earned district and regional titles.
